  CLEAR                        Considered top grade. Free of any knots or defects.

  PREMIUM GRADE     Graded for both sides.  Tight knot, no open defects.

  #1 GRADE                 Graded for  side. Solid board with mostly tight knot.
                                    May have some open holes.

  #2 GRADE                Solid board with open holes. Could have light split, rot.
